hdmi l connector
I have no sound for my PS3 using DVI slot please read below and help me out?!?!?
My TV only has a DVI socket so my PS3 is connected to it via a HDMI-DVI cable and picture is perfect. I have used the AV cable to connect audio to my TV, using the red and white (L&R) plugs. The audio setting is 'Audio Input Connector/SCART/AV Multi', but I can't get any sound on TV. Any ideas ????
You say the audio setting is set for 'input'. Really? If we are talking about the PS3 it should be set for 'output'
1. Go to the sound set up section on the XMB.
2. Make sure that the output it set to come out of AV Multi and not HDMI.
3. Check that your TV is set to receive input from the Red and white cables even though the video is being sent via DVI. If they are plugged into the TV via a Phono-SCART adapter then it will probably try and get the video from the SCART too - which will mean a black screen.
Amend your question if this doesn't work and I'll try and help.
