I have a HDTV with 1 hdmi input and a HD Cable box?
I have an HDTV which has only 1 HDMI input -
I have a HD cable box which is HDMI and a HDMI DVD player.
Is there a 2:1 switch and will that work?
I need some good solutions!
Continuous trouble free operation is most important to me when it comes to switching digital video.

I watched the Axiomaudio video. The guy's kind of a whack job. You may not detect a difference between HDMI and Component, depending on your display, but it's there.
The source device (cable box) is digital. The TV set is digital. Why would anyone prefer to stick digital>analog and then analog>digital converters in line? The golden rule of electronics is: Any time you mess with a signal, you take a little bit of what you want away, and add a little of what you don't want. (noise)
Also, he said you must have v1.3 for copy protection. That's simply not true. You just need HDCP compliant equipment.
