hdmi audio problems
DVI PC output to HDMI Olevia 32" HDTV audio problem?
Just rec'd new DVI (female) to HDMI (male) cord to connect my PC to 32" Olevia HDMI TV (that I use as a monitor). Video seems better but audio on TV is gone. Audio from PC to stereo (via splitter from PC audio output) works fine but audio from TV is non-existent. What should I do to get the audio to work and to make video quality better? PLEASE HELP!!
DVI does not transmit audio.
if you want to make your computer's sounds come out of your HDTV, you need to hook up a separate audio cable from your PC audio output to the TV's audio inputs. It's usually a stereo-mini-to-dual-RCA cable. (stereo mini end plugs into your PC audio output, dual RCAs go into your TV's sound inputs.)
